Keep informed as Econorisk unpacks the key risks that matter most to your business! Econorisk’s monthly #RiskSeries continues in October with a pertinent discussion on Professional Indemnity. Focussing on sound risk management and how you can secure your business interests.
Econorisk, a leading independent risk and short-term insurance advisory business, truly understands the risks that businesses face on a daily basis. Which is why we host our highly informative #RiskSeries Breakfast each month, taking the opportunity to discuss the latest developments in business risk management with our clients and other business owners.
The latest installment of our #RiskSeries saw us partner with Factory & Industrial. Analysing physical risks and statutory requirements impacting businesses country-wide; focussing primairly on South African Occupational Health and Safety as well as Building Regulations and what these requirements mean in real terms.
Brian Muller, the Managing Director of Factory and Industrial, laid out the various risks faced by companies and delved into relevant solutions for each. He went on to analyse the various other challenges faced by the insurance industry in relation to clients’ own physical risk management protocols. Namely, the spiraling economy, a changing climate effecting weather in certain crucial regions, as well as service delivery issues within the South African Police Service and Fire Brigade.
Brian concluded by focussing on potential solutions, such as good corporate governance, executive responsibility and accountability, and internal house-keeping.
